About

BIO
Morten Reigstad’s great passion as an artist is to portray people. As artistic expression, a good portrait is timeless and immortal. It does not need a “manual” to be understood. Reigstad’s work has been bought by both private collectors and public institutions, both in Norway and abroad.

In addition to working actively as an artist, he founded Fabrikken Tegne- og Maleskole in 2020, where he teaches traditional drawing and painting techniques. Previously, this was part of Asker art college where, in the period 2009-2020, he had the academic responsibility for the part-time study in classical figuration.

Morten Reigstad has his formal art education from The Florence Academy of Art (2004-07).
